Corner Boys BBQ James Sampson joined us in studio to talk about his struggles with eating, addiction and recovery, and most important, his friendship with his BBQ partner "the pit King" Jamal Nedd. We also get into his participation in this year's upcoming Bubbles & Brisket #3, happening Saturday, June 3rd in Downtown Raleigh.

The NC F&B Podcast brought back half of James Sampson to check in on his weight loss progress. That’s right, half of James. The former 819 lb pit-master from Corner Boys BBQ in Raleigh, NC has lost over 400 lbs and plans to lose another 200 lbs with the help and support of his BBQ angel Jamal.
