We welcome Jill Donovan, the leading lady behind Donovan's Dish. You might recognize the name from the AMAZING shrimp and grits they brought to our This Is Not A Happy Hour event two weeks ago. (Yes, we still think about it almost every day.) During the episode,  we talk to Jill about how coronavirus is affecting the catering and event industry, as well as what she’s personally doing at Donovan’s Dish to maintain a safe, non-contact “Dish to Door” delivery system. We also talk about her time in college studying fashion merchandising and how it set her up for the retail aspect of her business, the tanning salons she started with her mom called Jill’s Beach, and what a typical dinner at home looks like for her and her kids. Max is a front-of-house veteran/sommelier that moved from Los Angeles to North Carolina in 2013. Since moving to North Carolina, he's run restaurants, designed wine programs and builds craft cocktail menus and now produces multiple podcasts.

Matthew is a certified sommelier from New York. His experience ranges from restaurant/bar to importing some of the finest wines in the world. He moved his family to North Carolina four years ago and works as a wine distributor.
